Quality high-grown mexican coffees have been making significant headway in the coffee world for many years. When we were offered this origin, we tried it...and we liked it very much! From Spanish introduction in the 1700's, today Mexico is one of the largest exporters of organic coffee. This is a hard, dense, slow-growing bean grown at high altitudes (4,000 ft+). This coffee has a mild acidity and is light-bodied, almost tea-like, when roasted medium. Perfect for a change of pace to some of the richer, heavy coffees you may be used to drinking. Mexican high-grown beans possess an even balance and smooth mouthfeel. This one is also very approachable in the cup. Give this one a try! We think you'll enjoy it.
