Long the benchmark coffee of South America, Colombian coffees are what most of us are accustomed to drinking on a regular basis...we call it "the familiar" coffee. This coffee is grown in the lower to middle altitudes (1,000 - 3,000 ft). This coffee exudes a bright acidity and a clean flavor when roasted medium. The finish is short, but each cup has a wonderful aroma and a very satisfying overall flavor. While your palate would have to be quite developed, you may even be able detect floral and lemon notes in the cup. The cup will hold its flavor through cooling. This is another one of the coffees we list as a "daily drinker" and is suitable for every preparation, such as drip-brew, pour-over, and even espresso.
